Microdermabrasion is a therapeutic method for skin rejuvenation. This rejuvenation is accomplished through stimulation of .the skin's fibroblast mechanisms (which are simply cells within the dermatological meshwork). By causing a simple "abrasion" to the outermost layer of the epidermis through microdermabrasion, the collagen producing organisms of the skin are stimulated thus making the skin more vibrant and youthful in appearance. The induced removal of this upper layer of skin is found to be most advantageous in smoothing fine lines and wrinkles.
Prior to any treatment, a careful evaluation of each client's skin is performed, which in turn, determines the treatment's application for individual maximum results.
